For this Project, we were asked to create a logo for The Silicon Valley Horse Show to help attract competitors and sponsors to the new equestrian event. They requested a logo that represents Silicon Valley and what it's famous for: technology. However, they also wanted a logo that embodies the grace and elegance of these highly trained show horses. So we created a logo that could do both. We also created event schedules, social media content, and magazine ads.
The Silicon Valley Horse Show is an equestrian sporting event located in Pleasanton, CA. This competition features American Saddlebreds, Hackneys, and Morgan horses; all breeds known for their high-stepping, prancing motion and spunk in the show ring. This competition is a revitalization of a similar competition in the area that was discontinued due to lack of entrants. So for this competition, we focused on the design and marketing of the event in order to win over competitors from near and far.
